At Clark's Private Chef & Events, we pride ourselves on our commitment to providing an exquisite dining experience that highlights the best local produce. Chef Rob Clark brings award-winning expertise to every event, ensuring that each meal is a celebration of flavour and quality.

Rob Clark was born in Scarborough, trained at Yorkshire Coast College at 17 years old and went onto to train in Michelin Starred Restaurant such as The Star Inn, Harome and then renowned acclaimed and notorious restaurant The Box Tree, Ilkley, Leeds. Rob went on to lead Head Chef positions in many kitchens to then go on to teach at Yorkshire Coast College with a passion and enthusiasm to train chefs of the future, progressing through a teaching career onto becoming the Head of the Catering & Hospitality department. In 2016 Rob and Partner Rebecca opened Clark’s Restaurant in Scarborough with a focus on opening a personable, romantic and intimate dining experience with local produce at the forefront and a strong connection to suppliers in the community of Scarborough and North Yorkshire. Clark’s closed its doors in 2024 due the rise in the cost of living and becoming economical factors. Rob and Rebecca have since now launched Clark’s Private Chef & Events, a natural ‘offshoot’ of the restaurant providing a chefs personal and professional service from pop up restaurant nights, private dining parties to wedding events and corporate dining. we hope you enjoy a taste of Yorkshire cuisine and warm Yorkshire hospitality.
